Hi, I’m Louise Byrne. Originally from Borris in Carlow, I’ve spent the last 19 years in Dublin and have recently moved back to Carlow. I’m a fully qualified psychotherapist offering counselling and psychotherapy services to adults and adolescents.
My passion is helping people. I believe that psychotherapy is an important service in helping us when life’s challenges can seem overwhelming. I offer a safe and confidential space and will work with you in collaborative way to help you meet your goals.
I draw on a number of influences in my work including;

As a humanistic & Integrative therapist, when working with a client I look at the whole person recognising body, emotions, mind and spirit elements.
Qualifications:
- MA in Psychotherapy
- Diploma in Addiction Studies
- Higher Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy
- BSocSc Social Policy & Sociology
- Accreditation with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP)
